We’re proud to announce new classes coming up at the Woolie Ewe:
Unraveling Ravelry: Learn how to find patterns, research yarn, see shop announcements, and follow your friends’ activities on the social networking site for knitters. The class is FREE, but please sign up so we know who is coming. Space is limited so we can provide individual attention. We expect this to be popular, so we’re repeating the same class four times. Sign up for the one that best fits your schedule:
- Tuesday, July 17 1:00 – 2:00
- Tuesday, July 17 6:30 – 7:30
- Thursday, July 26 1:00 – 2:00
- Saturday, July 28 11:00 AM – Noon
Introduction to Crochet: Designed for those with zero crochet experience. Learn basic techniques, terminology, and stitches. Participants will crochet a face cloth using the five most commonly used stitches, and learn a solid foundation for building additional skills. Class meets for three Saturday sessions: July 21, July 28, and August 4 from 4:30 – 6:00. The cost for this class is $65 and includes all materials.
Crocheted Men’s Beanie: Designed for beginning crocheters. Review basic stitches and learn to crochet in the round. (Participants in the Introduction to Crochet class can also sign up for this class.) Class meets for two Tuesday sessions: July 24 and August 7 from 6:00 – 7:30. The cost for this class is $50 and includes pattern and yarn; participants will need to provide their own crochet hook and locking stitch markers.
Crocheted Ladies’ Cloche: Designed for beginning crocheters. Review basic stitches, learn to crochet in the round, and navigate minor stitch and pattern changes. Class meets for two Tuesday sessions: August 14 and August 21 from 6:00 – 7:30. The cost for this class is $60 and includes the pattern, but participants will need to purchase yarn separately and provide their own crochet hook and locking stitch markers. (Yarn purchased for class will receive 10% off; members of the Woolie Ewe’s Ravelry group wll also receive the Ravelry discount.)

Introduction to Crochet are there any classes for this on saturdays or sundays or evenings? also are there any classes on intro to crochet for mom and daughter (10 yr,old) to do togrther ?
On rare occasions do we offer classes on a Sunday as this is typically the only day we are closed. We do offer private lessons if you are interested in a class for just two people.
